A well-established and respected law firm in the heart of Harrogate is seeking an Experienced Legal Cashier to join their finance team on a part-time temporary basis for up to 3 months.
This is an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable Legal Cashier who can quickly integrate into a busy finance function and provide immediate support across a range of legal accounting duties.
The successful candidate will have previous legal cashiering experience and a strong understanding of the Solicitors Accounts Rules.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing client and office account transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handling electronic payments, receipts, and banking activities
- Completing daily and monthly bank reconciliations
- Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with SRA Accounts Rules
- Processing client and office account transfers

To be successful in this role, you will have

- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- The ability to work independently and manage a varied workload
- Strong IT skills, including experience using finance and case management systems
