We are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Technician position in Guildford, Surrey, on behalf of a reputable franchised dealership specialising in prestige vehicles. Duties for the successful Vehicle Technician:

  • Carry out vehicle servicing and repairs within manufacturer standards and timescales
  • Test, diagnose, and repair faults efficiently and accurately
  • Advise customers and management on vehicle conditions, faults, and future servicing needs
  • Identify potential cost savings for customers through preventative maintenance recommendations
  • Maintain organisation and attention to detail throughout all tasks
  • Ensure completion of work within allotted times and quality standards

Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:

  • Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • City & Guilds qualification or similar accreditation
  • Minimum of 1 year's experience in diagnosing, servicing, maintenance, and repair of motor vehicles
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Organised, methodical, and proactive approach to problem solving
  • Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good time management skills
