Your new role
This is a commercially focused role where you'll act as the financial lead across a portfolio of high-profile projects, partnering with operational stakeholders to maximise performance and profitability.
Rather than simply reporting on the numbers, you'll be at the heart of decision-making, providing insight, challenge and guidance throughout the full project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities will include
- Partnering with project and operational teams to drive profitability and commercial success
- Leading project budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning
- Delivering insightful monthly reporting and performance analysis
- Providing financial challenge and support to aid key business decisions
- Identifying commercial risks and opportunities to improve project outcomes

- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across finance and operations
- What you'll need to succeed
You'll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with a strong commercial outlook and a track record of partnering with non-finance stakeholders.

- Experience operating within a project-based, engineering, technology or contract-led environment
- Strong forecasting, budgeting and financial modelling capability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- The confidence to challenge, influence and drive decision-making
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability
