A well-established and growing accountancy practice is seeking an experienced Personal Tax Manager to join its expanding tax team.
With a strong reputation for client service and technical excellence, the firm supports a broad range of private clients, business owners and high-net-worth individuals across the South East.

Your new role Y ou'll take responsibility for a portfolio of personal tax clients whilst supporting partners and senior leaders on a variety of advisory projects. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the delivery of personal tax compliance services
- Advising clients on a range of personal tax planning matters
- Reviewing tax returns and associated computations
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients and HMRC
- Supporting and developing junior members of the team
- Overseeing workflow, deadlines and client service standards
- Working closely with senior stakeholders on complex tax matters
- Contributing to business development and relationship-building activities
The role offers an excellent blend of compliance, advisory and people management responsibilities.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be ATT and/or CTA qualified and have proven experience working within personal tax in an accountancy practice environment. You'll also demonstrate:
- Strong technical personal tax knowledge
- Experience managing a portfolio of clients
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
- A proactive and commercial approach to client service
- The ability to manage competing priorities effectively
