Lending Property Paralegal – Guildford

Our client is seeking an ambitious Lending Property Paralegal to join their growing and highly regarded property team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced fee earners, gain exposure to a varied caseload of secured lending matters, and play a key role in delivering exceptional service to clients throughout the lending transaction process.

As a Lending Property Paralegal, you will provide vital support to fee earners across a broad range of property finance and secured lending matters, helping to ensure transactions progress smoothly from instruction through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with a varied caseload of secured lending and property finance transactions, including:
  • Drafting legal documents and correspondence.
  • Opening and managing client files.
  • Conducting searches and reviewing title documentation.
  • Preparing Certificates of Title and security documentation.
  • Liaising with borrowers, lenders, brokers, solicitors and other third parties.
  • Assisting with completions and post-completion matters, including registrations and lender requirements.
  • Ensuring compliance with lender instructions, regulatory obligations and firm procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate records and case management systems.

Experience and Skills Requirements

  • Previous experience within a Property Finance, Lending Property or Conveyancing team.
  • Understanding of secured lending transactions and the property conveyancing process.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems.

  • Job Type: Permanent
  • Expected Days and Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
  • Expected Notice Period: 1 month (once probation is complete)
  • Pay Increments: 1 month in arrears
