Duties of the Coach Builder

- Traditional aluminium coachbuilding and body panel fabrication
- Using the English Wheel for hand-forming and shaping aluminium panels
- Panel fabrication, metal finishing, and preparation
- Fitting and aligning body panels with high precision
- Contributing to low-volume vehicle manufacturing and bespoke automotive projects
- Producing high-quality craftsmanship with attention to detail
Requirements of the Coach Builder
- Proven experience as a Coach Builder
- Strong traditional aluminium coachbuilding skills
- Proficiency with panel fabrication, metal finishing, and panel alignment
- Experience in classic vehicle restoration or low-volume vehicle manufacture is advantageous
- A genuine passion for traditional automotive craftsmanship
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
