We are currently seeking an experienced and professional Service Advisor to join a well-established automotive dealership located in Grays, Essex.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual to develop their career within a reputable team, providing outstanding customer service and supporting dealership operations.
The successful Service Advisor will benefit from a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including:
- Basic salary of £27,000 per annum
- On-target earnings of up to £38,000 per year
- Monthly bonus based on labour sales and service plans
- Quarterly bonus related to CSI performance
- Drive on modern systems such as CDK, ADB, and Keyloop
- Life assurance and staff discounts on purchasing and servicing
- Additional earnings of £15 per service plan as part of CSI incentives
Duties of the Service Advisor include
- Greeting customers professionally and understanding their vehicle service needs
- Managing service scheduling and liaising with technicians to ensure smooth workflow
- Upselling service plans and additional repairs where appropriate
- Maximising sales through effective customer engagement and product promotion
- Maintaining accurate documentation of customer interactions and service details
- Driving customer satisfaction scores and ensuring high service quality standards
- Staying informed on manufacturer protocols and workshop procedures
Requirements for the Service Advisor role
- Proven experience as a Service Advisor or similar role within the motor trade
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of dealership management systems such as CDK, ADB, or Keyloop
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet targets
