Our client is seeking to appoint an Accounts Assistant to its busy and vibrant practice.
Duties for the Accounts Assistant:
- Maintain bookkeeping records for a portfolio of clients using standard accounting software.
- Process invoices, bank reconciliations, journals and VAT returns.
- Assist with month and year end bookkeeping and management reporting.
- Support clients with day to day bookkeeping queries.
- Support with Accounts preparation.
Experience for the Accounts Assistant:
- Current UK mainstream accountancy Firm experience.
- AAT qualified/ part qualified.
- Experience of bookkeeping software including cloud software.
- Organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience of double entry.
- Familiarity of VAT schemes.
- Experience of volume processing.
- Knowledge of Accounts preparation.
