Our client is a well-established manufacturing business and a recognised leader within its sector. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Production Process Engineer to support operational performance, process improvement and CNC programming activities. Working closely with Operations, Team Leaders and Production teams, you will play a key role in improving efficiency, reducing downtime and supporting the introduction of new products and processes.
Hours: Monday to Friday, either 7:00am to 3:30pm or 8:00am to 4:30pm

The Role
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance safety, quality, and productivity
- Supporting machine fault diagnosis, breakdown recovery, and production troubleshooting
- Creating and modifying CNC programmes to improve efficiency and product quality
- Supporting production trials, prototypes, and new product introductions
- Assessing workflow, site layout, and production processes to improve material flow and maximise capacity
- Working closely with operators and team leaders to improve processes and share technical knowledge
- Assisting with tooling specification, machine set-up, and process control
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing operation
About You
- Experience within a manufacturing, production, or engineering environment
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and root cause analysis techniques
- Experience supporting process improvement projects and production trials
- Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach
- The ability to communicate effectively and provide training or support to production teams
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and operational performance
Desirable
- Experience working with CNC machinery and programming
- Knowledge of tooling, machine set-up, and process control
- Experience diagnosing production equipment faults and supporting machine recovery
