Your responsibilities
Conduct
- transport assessments
- transport statements
- feasibility studies for a range of development projects
You will also
- manage transport modelling and travel plans
- contribute to highway design input
- coordinate with drainage and flood risk specialists
- prepare technical reports
- present findings to clients and stakeholders
- provide expert advice during meetings, consultations and public inquiries

Requirements
- Strong experience in transport planning, including the delivery of transport assessments, transport statements, and travel plans for development projects.
- Proficiency in transport modelling and related analytical tools, with the ability to interpret data and provide practical recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills, including technical report writing, presentations, and stakeholder engagement.
- Degree (or equivalent) in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related discipline.
- Professional accreditation with CIHT, TPS, ICE, or working towards accreditation is highly desirable.
- Experience with UK transport policy, design standards, and development planning processes, including liaison with local authorities and public bodies.
- Competence with relevant software, including junction and network modelling, GIS, and MS Office.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a hybrid working environment, with excellent organisational skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
