Are you a Graduate Civil Engineer looking to build long-term technical progression, with Software Training and clear Progression within an established housebuilder? Do you want a varied role where you can see residential sites through from acquisition to completion, supported by an experienced engineering team?

This is a secure, permanent position with a well-established SME residential developer, offering hands-on development from day one and the chance to build real specialist knowledge (not just "paper" experience). You'll be supported as you learn the core civil engineering software and grow your capability year-on-year.

This housebuilder is renowned for building a variety of residential developments across tradition and completely bespoke developments. With a big push on sustainability and renewable technology, you'll be joining a company that's investing in doing things properly and staying ahead of the curve.

Reporting to the Associate Engineering Director, you'll work alongside other engineers to develop innovative, cost-effective solutions across all stages of a site's development. You'll produce detailed drawings and designs to support planning applications, authority submissions, tender and construction, while liaising with internal teams and attending site visits as required.

This role suits a Graduate Civil Engineer who is motivated by technical development and becoming a specialist, especially someone keen to broaden into more complex and innovative developments.

The Role:

  • Support engineering solutions from acquisition through to construction and completion, reporting to the Associate Engineering Director
  • Produce detailed drawings/designs for planning, water/highway authority submissions, tender and construction (SuDS, roads, foundations, retaining walls, remediation works)
  • Office-based in Gloucester with site visits as required; Monday to Friday 08:30-17:30 (Friday finish at 17:00)

The Person:

  • BEng degree in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering (with genuine civil engineering interest)
  • Full UK driving licence and willing to travel to site
  • Enthusiastic, confident communicator with a keen-to-learn attitude

We are an equal opportunities company and welcome applications from all suitable candidates.
