Day-to-day of the role
- Handle your own caseload of sale & purchase files under supervision.
- Update clients and introducers on the progress of matters.
- Raise and respond to enquiries, interrogate responses, and provide detailed reports to clients.
- Deal with pre-exchange and completion issues.
- Work closely with a team of Fee Earners, Paralegals, and Legal Assistants.
- Ensure a high level of service and communication throughout the conveyancing process.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- GCSE pass at grade C or above in English and Maths.
- A law degree (ideally 2:1 or above) or an equivalent law qualification is highly desirable.
- Experience of working within a law firm environment with prior residential conveyancing or wider property exposure.
- Competence in operating IT systems including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deliver tasks timely and effectively under pressure.
