Senior Quality Engineer

First Achieve Engineering Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a leading aerospace manufacturer in the recruitment of an experienced Senior Quality Engineer.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business, playing a key role in maintaining quality standards, driving continuous improvement and ensuring compliance within a highly regulated aerospace environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO9001 and customer requirements.
  • Lead investigations into non-conformances, CAPAs and root cause analysis.
  • Review and approve First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).
  • Support internal, external and customer audits.
  • Work closely with Production and Engineering to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support supplier quality activities.

About You

  • Previous Quality Engineering experience within aerospace or a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of AS9100 and quality management systems.
  • Experience with FAIRs, NCRs, CAPA and root cause analysis.
  • Able to interpret engineering drawings.
  • Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
