Are you a Trainee Electrical Technician looking for a role where you'll be frequently staying away, in a role that offers expert training and certification on High Voltage equipment to work on exciting projects across National GRID sites?
In this role you will become an Electrical Technician authorised to work on High Voltage electricity distribution sites across the UK. You will be working away frequently, normally 2 weeks out of a month, being paid a bonus for your troubles. You'll be trained by National Grid themselves, gaining authorisation in several steps to become a fully qualified Engineer.
This company have built a profitable niche within monitoring equipment used to prevent and detect anomalies across the UK's electrical distribution Network. You will be servicing, maintaining and installing this specialist equipment across the UK.
This role would suit a recently qualified Electrical Technician (HNC, SQF, NVQ etc) with some hands-on electrical experience looking to become a technical expert in High Voltage equipment.
The Role:
- Attending High Voltage electricity distribution sites across the UK
- Training from a Glasgow based Office and on-site with the National Grid
- Structured progression to become a profession, fully certified Electrical Engineer
- Working away from home 50% of the time
- Great bonus (£70 Per Night) for staying-away
The Person:
- Recently acquired Electrical qualification (HNC, 18 Edition, SQF or NVQ)
- Some hands-on work experience with electrical systems
- Happy working away from home 50% of the year
