A commercial law practice is seeking an experienced Senior Associate or Legal Director to lead on non-contentious restructuring work within its established Insolvency & Restructuring team. This senior role involves advising lenders, corporates and insolvency practitioners on complex domestic and cross-border mandates, while supporting the strategic growth of the practice.

Role Requirements:

  • Leading non-contentious restructuring matters, including refinancings, group reorganisations, debt restructuring and business/asset sales
  • Advising stakeholders on risk, strategy and restructuring options
  • Drafting and negotiating detailed transactional documentation
  • Managing multi-disciplinary teams and coordinating input across banking, corporate, real estate, tax and employment
  • Developing client relationships and identifying growth opportunities
  • Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers as part of team development

Experience:

  • 7+ years' PQE in non-contentious restructuring and insolvency
  • Experience handling complex, high-value transactions
  • Confident advising lenders, borrowers and insolvency practitioners
  • Background in supervising junior colleagues and leading client workstreams
  • Skilled in drafting, analysis and strategic decision-making
