You'll play a key role in keeping a fast-paced production environment running at its best, varied tasks and a supportive engineering team that values expertise and initiative.
- What You'll Be Doing
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across plant and machinery.
- Respond to breakdowns, diagnose issues and carry out repairs to minimise downtime.
- Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Complete Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) and maintain accurate engineering records.
- Work collaboratively with other engineers and shift teams to prioritise work effectively.
- Ensure all tasks are completed safely in line with Health & Safety procedures and permit-to-work systems.
What We're Looking For
- Experienced Electrician (cross-skilled preferred).
- HNC, City & Guilds or equivalent recognised engineering qualification.
- Strong fault-finding skills and experience working with a wide range of machinery.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Solid understanding of electrical regulations and safe working practices.
- Flexible, proactive and able to work well under production pressures.
