Your Role and Responsibilities:
As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will
- Drive site performance (OEE) and support new project initiatives.
- Ensure the maintenance and repair of all production and plant equipment, focusing on continuous improvement.
- Execute maintenance procedures and prioritise tasks according to plant needs and production schedules.
- Conduct regular checks and tests on all plant machinery to maintain operational specifications.
- Uphold Health and Safety and Quality procedures, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Comply with Corporate, Health and Safety, and Environmental standards, including the 17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations.
- Assist in training others in key skills and develop training plans in collaboration with management.
- Communicate effectively with engineering teams, sharing updates and insights on equipment performance.
What You Bring to the Table:
We are looking for candidates with
- Extensive experience with processing and packaging machinery.
- Mechanical and electrical qualifications (City & Guilds or NVQ L3 equivalent)
- A knack for troubleshooting and resolving PLC and robotic issues.
- Proven experience in reactive, planned, preventative, and predictive maintenance.
- A working knowledge of Continuous Improvement and SMED projects.
- Basic Lean Six Sigma qualifications (yellow or green belt) are ideal.
