We are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to enhance our Private Client team in Farnham.

This role involves providing comprehensive secretarial support, ensuring efficient handling of a diverse caseload, and contributing to the overall client service excellence.

Day-to-day of the role

  • Provide secretarial support to the Private Client team, managing a variety of legal matters efficiently.
  • Prepare legal documents, manage correspondence, and maintain files to ensure they are up-to-date.
  • Utilize modern IT systems for audio and copy typing, and manage electronic diaries effectively.
  • Assist in the administration of estates, drafting of wills, and preparation of other legal documents under attorney supervision.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of all practice and client documentation and information.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Legal Secretary, preferably within the Private Client sector.

Candidates from other legal backgrounds who demonstrate transferable skills are also encouraged to apply.

  • Excellent client care skills, with a commitment to providing high-quality service.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in modern IT systems and software, including Tikit (PW4 or Partner for Windows).
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, capable of working collaboratively in a busy environment.
