Eventus Legal is seeking a Conveyancing Assistant to join a busy Residential Property team in Farnham, Surrey.

This is a full time, permanent job position offering a salary of £28,000 to £32,000 depending on experience, 26 days' holiday plus bank holidays, a company pension scheme and ongoing professional development.

Hybrid working and remote working from home for one to two days per week are available after the initial training period, providing a balanced opportunity within a growing and supportive law firm.

Role Responsibilities

As a Conveyancing Assistant in Farnham, Surrey, you will support fee earners throughout residential property transactions and help matters progress efficiently from instruction through to completion.

  • Prepare and issue residential conveyancing quotations.
  • Assist with client onboarding and compliance procedures, including opening and maintaining conveyancing files.
  • Prepare sale and purchase files for exchange of contracts.
  • Liaise professionally with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other solicitors.
  • Support fee earners with day to day administration and case management.
  • Deal with post-exchange and post-completion matters.
  • Maintain accurate files and records in accordance with the firm's procedures.
