We are an approved AluK fabricator of slim-line aluminium windows and doors looking for an experienced Fabricator and Production Operator to join our team based in Farnborough, Hampshire. With over 30 years' experience within the industry specialising in the manufacture and supply of slim-line aluminium windows, doors, sliding doors, verandas and bi-folds for both commercial and domestic markets, we deliver our products throughout the South of England. We pride ourselves not only in our excellent products but our first-class customer service and installation support.

Working as part of our professional and friendly team of 5, you will be working Monday to Friday 8am – 4.30pm with a competitive salary dependent on experience, plus productivity bonus, company pension, 20 days holiday, and free onsite parking.

You will be working to a daily production schedule to assemble and fabricate window and door frames to detailed specifications while working within health and safety guidelines ensuring the working area is kept clean, safe and tidy.

We are ideally looking for candidates with 2 years experience fabricating and assembling aluminium, UPCV or wooden frames. You must have a good understanding of production requirements, the ability to work to deadlines whilst ensuring quality standards are met. You should also be a team player who is willing to be flexible across the operation to undertake work in accordance with skill set to support other teams within the business.

Reporting to the Leading Hand, your responsibilities will be:

  • Meeting the required quality standards and following work instructions written or verbal.
  • Cleaning and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Ensuring all manual handling (lifting, carrying) is carried out safely.
  • Following work instructions and if unsure check with the supervisor.
  • Working with the team and communicate effectively to ensure that all activities are carried out efficiently.
  • Inspection and checking of products ensuring the highest standards are maintained.
  • Working to the established production times and advising if these are not achieved.
  • Providing feedback and recommendations for improvements in the area or for the process.
  • Identifying and reporting unsafe operations and equipment.

To be successful for the Fabricator and Production Operator role you will have previous experience fabricating and assembling aluminium, UPCV or wooden frames, a good understanding of production requirements, the ability to work to deadlines and ensure quality standards are met.
