Office Based, Exeter - commutable from Sidmouth, Exmouth, Torquay, Tiverton and surrounding areas.

£36,500-£40,000 + Office Based, Monday to Friday + Hybrid Available (up to 1 day a week) + Holiday + Pension + Company Benefits + Early Finish on Fridays.

The role will see the candidate designing and developing new and existing products, from concept through to completion. Working in the engineering department, you will be working closely with the Engineering Manager to aid with the development testing of the company's creations.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of mechanical engineering, be proficient working with CAD packages (e.g. Solidworks or SolidEdge) and have experience implementing improvements within manufacturing.

The Person:

  • Mechanical Design Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer/ Production Engineer / Development Engineer or similar backgrounds all considered
  • Experience working in a Manufacturing environment - sheet metal experience would be advantageous
  • Knowledge and experience using Solid Edge / Solid Works
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical principles (qualifications ideally)
