You'll also be involved in management accounts review, working directly with clients, mentoring and developing junior members of the team, and contributing to research into potential new income streams. In terms of the ideal candidate, we're focusing on two profiles: experienced financial accountants or those with strong analytical backgrounds looking to develop their career in a high-quality industry environment, and practice based candidates, ideally with a background in audit or corporate finance, who are ready to make the move into industry. A professional qualification is essential, with ACA, ACCA or CIMA all equally appropriate, either recently qualified or with up to four years post qualified experience. Strong technical accounting skills, commercial awareness, experience across various reporting standards, and a confident IT aptitude are all essential. Exceptional communication skills and a genuine appetite for career progression will be the clincher.
