LHH is pleased to collaborate with a large independent firm in Exeter that is in search of a dedicated and experienced Audit Senior.

In this position, you will oversee an audit team on-site, mentor junior team members, and handle a varied client portfolio.
Your responsibilities will include planning and executing statutory audits for corporate clients, both in the office and at their locations.
Responsibilities
- Plan, carry out, and finalise audit assignments while supporting the audit manager.
- Prepare statutory accounts, corporation tax calculations, and returns for limited companies and groups.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling services.
- Assist with other compliance tasks, including preparing VAT returns.
- Prepare accounts for partnerships and sole traders, including drafting income tax calculations.
- Communicate workload progress to management and plan for efficient task completion.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
- Train and oversee junior staff members.
- Prepare management accounts.
Requirements
- Competent in audit, accounting and tax software.
- ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent.
- Full clean drivers licence.
- Able to work effectively under pressure.
- Strong communication skills.
- Familiar with accounting software e. g. Sage and Xero
- Previous use of CCH and Caseware would be an advantage
- Excel skills - including vlookup, sumif and Pivot Tables
