The Opportunity

An established and growing organisation is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to support operational and commercial stakeholders, providing financial insight that drives performance and informed decision-making.

This is a highly visible role, offering the opportunity to influence business strategy while ensuring robust financial governance and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with operational, commercial and senior leadership teams to provide financial support and challenge.
  • Prepare and deliver key financial reporting including management accounts, budgets, forecasts and business cases.
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity and timeliness of financial information and reporting.
  • Identify and communicate risks and opportunities impacting business performance, working closely with stakeholders to develop appropriate actions.
  • Support strategic decision-making through detailed financial analysis and investment appraisals.
  • Contribute to consolidated reporting, performance analysis and wider finance projects across the organisation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, helping to enhance processes, systems and reporting capabilities.
  • Foster strong working relationships across both finance and non-finance teams.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
  • Experience within a multi-site environment.
  • Strong management accounting and commercial finance background.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with financial reporting systems.
  • Proven business partnering experience, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical ability, attention to detail and commercial awareness.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable

  • Strong financial modelling and investment appraisal experience.
  • Experience using Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
  • Project management experience.
