TPF Recruitment are delighted to be working with a long-standing, highly regarded accountancy practice based in the KT area. Due to continued growth, they are looking to bring a Personal Tax Manager into their successful private client team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced private client tax professional who thrives on delivering both compliance and advisory services to a prestigious client base of high-net-worth individuals, including UK and non-UK domiciled clients.
The Role
As Senior Manager, you will play a key role in shaping client relationships and delivering specialist advice. Your day-to-day will include:
- Reviewing personal tax returns prepared by consultants and providing technical guidance
- Advising on estate planning, inheritance tax planning, wealth structuring and domicile matters
- Spotting opportunities for restructuring clients' tax affairs and discussing these with the Partner and client
- Acting as a trusted point of contact for clients, alongside the Partner
- Handling HMRC tax investigations when required
Requirements
What We're Looking For
The practice is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable individual who is both technically strong and a confident communicator. You should be able to deliver accurate advice to a demanding client base and manage workflows in a busy environment.
To be considered, you will ideally have:
- CTA qualification with at least 5 years' post-qualification experience
- A proven track record of working with complex UK and non-domiciled HNW clients
- Strong technical knowledge across personal tax planning and advisory work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and deliver to deadlines
- Strong IT skills and a willingness to embrace new technologies
