Due to continued growth within the tax team, an opportunity has arisen for a Personal Tax Senior to support an expanding and varied portfolio of clients.

Your new role: As a Personal Tax Senior, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring compliance obligations are delivered accurately and on time whilst providing a high standard of client service. Working closely with private individuals, business owners and high-net-worth clients, you will become a trusted point of contact, helping to build long-term relationships and delivering practical tax support. Your responsibilities will include preparing and reviewing self-assessment tax returns, managing client correspondence, liaising with HMRC and supporting a broad range of personal tax compliance matters. You will also have the opportunity to gain exposure to capital gains tax, inheritance tax and wider private client tax issues, providing excellent scope for professional development and increased advisory exposure over time. Working alongside experienced tax professionals, you will contribute to the continued growth of the department whilst developing your own technical and client management skills.

What you'll need to succeed: To be successful in this role, you will have previous personal tax experience gained within an accountancy practice environment and be comfortable managing your own workload and client relationships. You may currently be working as a Tax Assistant, Tax Semi-Senior or Personal Tax Senior and be looking for an opportunity to further develop your career within a supportive and well-regarded firm. Strong communication skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach to client service are essential. ATT, CTA studies or equivalent experience would be advantageous, although candidates qualified by experience will also be considered.
