An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Pensions Solicitor (7+ years') to join a highly regarded pensions team in Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Pensions Lawyer to join a market-leading UK practice, working alongside experienced Partners and a collaborative team on a broad range of high-quality advisory matters.
The Role
You will advise both trustees and employers across a broad range of pensions matters, including:
- Defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes
- Group pensions and master trusts
- Pension scheme restructuring and governance
- Insurance products, including buy-ins and buy-outs
- Longevity products and other pension structures
- Pensions-related contentious and litigation matters
- Providing strategic and commercially focused advice to clients
The team has a particularly broad offering, with contentious pensions work handled within the wider practice, allowing Lawyers to provide clients with a comprehensive view of both advisory and potential contentious issues.
About You
We're keen to hear from experienced Pensions Solicitors who can demonstrate:
- 7+ years' PQE
- Strong experience gained within a recognised pensions team
- A genuine interest in and enthusiasm for the pensions market
- Excellent technical and advisory skills
