I'm working with a leading Scottish law firm that's looking to add an AML Analyst to its growing Risk & Compliance team in Edinburgh. If you have experience in Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Client Due Diligence (CDD), sanctions screening, source of funds, or legal compliance, this could be an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected firm with a supportive team and genuine career development.

The role?

  • Reviewing Client Due Diligence (CDD) documentation
  • Conducting AML, sanctions, PEP and adverse media checks
  • Reviewing incoming client funds and source of funds queries
  • Advising fee earners on AML regulations and internal policies
  • Supporting client and matter risk assessments
  • Helping maintain compliance with UK AML Regulations and internal procedures
  • Escalating unusual activity where appropriate

About you?

  • Experience in AML, Risk & Compliance or Financial Crime
  • A background in a law firm, banking or financial services environment (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail
  • The confidence to challenge where required and build relationships with stakeholders
