We are seeking an experienced and motivated Accountant to take ownership of a client portfolio, delivering a full suite of accountancy services with a personal touch.

You'll play a key role in building client relationships, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting clients' ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of small to medium-sized clients across various sectors
  • Oversee & deliver management accounts, statutory accounts, corporation tax & VAT services
  • Maintain regular, proactive communication with clients to anticipate needs & deliver solutions
  • Self-assessment tax filings for directors of client companies, sole traders and partnerships
  • MTD for IT for soletraders and landlords
  • Identify opportunities to improve client processes through technology and best practices
  • Collaborate with our wider team to ensure seamless service delivery and knowledge sharing
  • What we are looking for
  • Qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent experience
  • Strong experience in a practice environment managing a portfolio of clients
  • Sound knowledge of UK tax, VAT, and accounting regulations
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, client-centric approach
  • Confidence using cloud-based accounting software
  • A team player with a drive for continuous improvement and innovation
