The Role

  • You'll be responsible for developing new commercial insurance business across SME and mid-market clients, building your own pipeline and converting opportunities into long-term relationships.
  • With access to leading insurers, competitive products, and a recognisable brand, you'll be free to concentrate on what you do best - opening doors and closing deals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new commercial insurance business through networking, referrals, and self-generated leads.
  • Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline across SME and mid-market clients.
  • Present tailored insurance solutions to prospective clients.
  • Work closely with Account Executives and internal broking teams to ensure smooth onboarding.
  • Build lasting relationships with clients, insurers, and introducers.
  • Achieve and exceed new business and income targets.

About You

  • Proven experience in a Development Executive / New Business role within commercial insurance.
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and the UK market.
  • Confident, proactive, and comfortable operating in a target-driven environment.
  • A natural relationship builder with strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • ACII qualified or working towards (beneficial, not essential).
