The primary duty for this role will be to support the Quarry Manager with the safe and efficient management and operation of the Quarry. You will support the management of production and extraction activities, troubleshooting technical problems and overseeing planning of day-to-day operations in conjunction with other departments across site.

Key Responsibilities

Safety will comprise a key element of the role. You will also be required to conduct risk assessments and health and safety inspections and to demonstrate leadership in safety. An important element of the role will involve administrative duties, from writing reports and updating records to procurement and budget control. An ability to plan and organise work in a time efficient fashion is critical.

The ideal candidate will have background in the extractive industry, be familiar with the extractive process with a strong focus on safety and interpersonal skills. The Group places the highest importance on sustained standards of excellence in all aspects of Health, Safety and Environmental management and you will be expected to contribute to the Company's zero harm culture.
