Our client is a precision engineering company that specialising in machining solutions for a wide range of industry sectors.
They are seeking a CAD Engineer/Estimator to join their existing team.
As a CAD Engineer/Estimator you will focus on creating detailed drawings using Auto CAD 2D and carry out estimating responsibilities for each project.
CAD Engineer/Estimator Responsibilities
- Must be able to gather and work to engineering specifications
- Create detailed 2D drawings using Auto CAD 2D software
- Review and update legacy drawings
- Provide technical support to the wider team
- Assist with the CAD/CAM programming when required
- Carry out estimating responsibilities for each project.
CAD Engineer/Estimator Requirements
- Previous experience in a Design related position
- Experienced in creating 2D designs using Auto CAD
- CAD CAM experience would be advantageous
- Must be a team player
