This is an opportunity to join a specialist renewable energy company focused on the design, installation and maintenance of bioenergy heating solutions. The business is expanding into new areas of the energy sector and is continuing to grow its project portfolio, offering the opportunity to develop your technical skills within a fast-growing and forward-thinking industry.
In this role, you will produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for biomass, bioenergy and heating projects. You'll develop general arrangement drawings, equipment layouts, pipework routes and fabrication and installation drawings, working from engineering specifications, site surveys and technical information.
This role would suit a Draughtsperson, CAD Technician or similar with mechanical or HVAC experience, looking to join a growing renewable energy business where you'll gain exposure to technically varied biomass and bioenergy projects.
The Role:
- Produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for renewable energy projects
- Create GA, fabrication, installation and equipment layout drawings
- Develop pipework routes, plant-room layouts and system arrangements
- Update drawings following design changes, site surveys and installations
- Liaise with engineers, project teams, suppliers and installation teams
The Person:
- Experience as a Draughtsperson, CAD Technician or similar
- Proficient in AutoCAD or similar CAD software
- Commutable to Kirby
