Our client Dorset Police are seeking a dynamic Senior Financial Accountant to provide essential support to Dorset Police and Devon & Cornwall Police.

### What You'll Do:
As the Senior Financial Accountant, you will
- Deliver Financial Support: Provide senior-level financial insights to ensure compliance with regulations and the production of unqualified annual accounts.
- Oversee Annual Accounts: Coordinate the preparation of statutory requirements, including prime statements and Whole Government Accounts.
- Lead Training Initiatives: Deliver training sessions to the Finance Department, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Manage Relationships: Liaise with actuaries, valuers, and external bodies to maintain accurate valuations and sustain key relationships.
- Develop Strategies: Support the Head of Financial Accounting in developing strategies and systems, ensuring robust processes are in place for accuracy and consistency.

- A degree and full membership of a CCAB body (or equivalent) along with extensive post-qualification experience.
- Proven ability to analyse and present complex financial data effectively.
