A well-established and highly regarded Dorset law firm is seeking a Solicitor (NQ+ PQE) to join its growing Insolvency & Corporate Recovery team. You will work closely with a highly respected Partner who is also a qualified Insolvency Practitioner, gaining exposure to a broad range of insolvency and corporate recovery matters. The team acts predominantly for insolvency practitioners, including liquidators, administrators, and trustees in bankruptcy, providing high-quality legal advice on a range of contentious and non-contentious matters.
You will assist with and progressively take responsibility for a varied caseload of insolvency and recovery matters, including:
- Advising insolvency practitioners on formal insolvency appointments
- Corporate recovery and restructuring matters
- Insolvency-related litigation and dispute resolution
- Company law and director-related issues
- Asset recovery matters
- Supporting clients through complex insolvency processes
- Business development and networking activities
Applications are welcomed from Solicitors at all levels, including those who are newly qualified or due to qualify. The successful legal professional will possess a genuine interest in insolvency and corporate recovery law, have strong communication skills and a client-focused approach, excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities, a proactive and commercial mindset and the ability to manage and prioritise workloads effectively.
