A well-established law firm in Doncaster is looking to recruit a New Build Solicitor to join its established residential property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Residential Property Solicitor or New Build Solicitor with experience handling new build transactions to take responsibility for a dedicated caseload and work closely with developers, buyers, lenders and estate agents. The role offers the opportunity to develop your expertise in new build conveyancing and plot sales while working within a supportive and established team.
The Role
- You will manage a caseload of new build conveyancing matters, dealing with transactions from initial instruction through to completion and post completion.
- Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a caseload of new build sales and purchases
- Acting for buyers and developers on new build property transactions
- Reviewing contracts, title documentation and development documentation
- Advising clients throughout the conveyancing process
- Dealing with Help to Buy, shared ownership and lender requirements where applicable
- Working closely with Developers, Estate Agents, Lenders and other Solicitors
- Managing exchange and completion deadlines set by developers
- Handling completions and post completion formalities
- Keeping clients updated and providing a high standard of client care
- Managing a busy caseload while ensuring transactions progress efficiently
About You
- You will be a qualified Solicitor with previous experience in Residential Conveyancing and New Build Conveyancing.
- You will ideally have:
- Experience handling new build property transactions
- Knowledge of plot sales and purchases
- Experience managing your own conveyancing caseload
- Strong understanding of the residential conveyancing process
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- The ability to manage multiple transactions and meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication and client care skills
- Good attention to detail
- The ability to work effectively as part of an established property team
