About the Role
Zentar Health and Social Care is currently recruiting experienced Domiciliary Care Workers to join our Community Team in Herefordshire, with flexible care shifts available to suit your availability. We understand that not everyone can commit to long 12-hour shifts. Whether you have family commitments, are studying, already work part-time, or simply want to pick up additional hours, our shorter shifts can help you fit work around your lifestyle.
We currently have 4, 6 and 8-hour shifts available.
What You'll Do
As a Domiciliary Care Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals within community-based care settings. Your responsibilities may include:
- Providing person-centred care and support
- Supporting individuals with their daily routines and activities
- Promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing
- Building positive and professional relationships with service users
- Following individual care and support plans
- Maintaining accurate care records
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals
- Following safeguarding, health and safety and infection-control procedures

You should:
- Have previous experience working in health or social care
- Be caring, compassionate and patient
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills
- Be reliable and professional
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
