We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join a reputable main dealership in Derby. Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
- Conduct servicing, repairs, and maintenance on customer vehicles to manufacturer standards
- Carry out diagnostic and warranty work accurately
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance including cambelts and general mechanical repairs
- Complete electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs)
- Accurately update job cards and digital records
- Ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and to high standards
- Collaborate effectively with the workshop team to maintain quality and productivity
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
- Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance qualification (IMI, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Service Technician
- Strong skills in servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and fault finding
- MOT licence is advantageous but not essential
- Full UK driving licence
- Motivated to learn and progress via manufacturer training
- Attention to detail and team-oriented mindset
