Our client, based in Derbyshire, is currently recruiting for a STAIRs Assistant on a 3-month temporary contract leading to a 9-month fixed term contract. The role is available on a 12-month FTC for candidates with increased notice periods. The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with and have knowledge of STAIRs, as well as experience within social housing, local government or another regulated environment.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Support the maintenance and development of the Group's STAIRs publication scheme and published information library
- Act as the first point of contact for incoming STAIRs requests, ensuring requests are accurately logged, acknowledged and tracked
- Maintain the STAIRs request register and supporting records, ensuring complete and accurate audit trails are retained
- Coordinate information gathering activities with service teams across the Group to support timely responses to tenant requests
- Assist in reviewing information gathered for completeness, quality and suitability prior to disclosure
Skills and Experience required:
- Experience required in Social Housing
- Knowledge of STAIRs or the Freedom of Information Act 2000
- Experience of managing information requests, complaints or correspondence
