An exciting opportunity for a Senior FP&A Business Partner to join an established organisation in a high-impact role, partnering with senior leadership and operational stakeholders to drive strategic and commercial decision-making.

This role goes beyond traditional reporting, with responsibility for providing financial insight across planning, investment, performance and long-term sustainability.

Key responsibilities

  • Partner with senior stakeholders, providing commercial insight and constructive challenge
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and scenario modelling
  • Communicate confidently with finance and non-finance individuals at all levels
  • Develop financial models , business cases and sensitivity analysis from scratch
  • Deliver insightful monthly and quarterly performance reporting
  • Identify risks, opportunities and value-creation initiatives
  • Develop and improve KPIs and reporting processes
  • Build financial capability across non-finance teams
  • Support finance transformation, automation and AI initiatives
  • Mentor colleagues and contribute to wider FP&A initiatives

About you

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). QBE can be considered for particularly strong candidates who have the required commercial experience
  • Strong post-qualified experience within FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering
  • Strong financial modelling, forecasting and scenario analysis skills
  • Advanced Excel capability, including Power Query and modelling
  • Experience with Power BI and have experience of larger ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Dynamics 365 - essential
  • Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and providing constructive challenge
  • Experience within a complex, operational or service-led environment
