Our client is a global, leading precision component manufacturer primarily operating in the Aerospace sector.
They manufacture precision engineered parts for aerospace customers (mainly precision fabrication and machining) and are looking for a Quality Inspector to join their growing team.
The ideal candidate will have experience inspecting a range of machined and fabricated components.

Job Description - To carry out 1st off Inspection / Receipt Inspection / Inspection and Calibration activities as required to support operations.
- Running CMM programmes; analysing and recording results and making quality decisions.
- To support the internal non-conformance process; raising rejects and ensuring all containment is captured.
- To liaise closely with Engineering to ensure the smooth transition of new products β New Product Introduction (NPI).
- Read and understand all manufacturing instructions prior to commencing an operation, this includes Machine and Tooling Set Up Packs as required, Engineering Drawings, Data Cards, Inspection Plans.
- Quality Inspector
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications - Well-versed inspecting a range of metal high precision components/parts, to tight tolerances
- Experience working within a highly regulated environment/industry (aerospace, automotive, nuclear, oil & gas, rail)
- Confident using dimensional measurement tools such as verniers/callipers, gauges, micrometres
- Positive attitude, with an open mind to learning new skills
