An established and growing occupational health and compliance consultancy is seeking an experienced Occupational Hygienist to join its expanding team in the East Midlands.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional looking to work across a diverse client portfolio, supporting organisations in managing workplace health risks and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct occupational hygiene assessments across a variety of sectors, including manufacturing, engineering, construction, logistics, and commercial environments.
  • Undertake workplace exposure monitoring for hazards such as dusts, fumes, vapours, noise, vibration, and hazardous substances.
  • Produce clear, accurate technical reports and provide practical recommendations to clients.
  • Support clients with COSHH assessments and exposure control strategies.
  • Deliver professional advice on workplace health risk management and regulatory compliance.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service delivery.
  • Assist in the development of occupational hygiene services and contribute to business growth initiatives.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have

  • Previous experience in occupational hygiene, environmental monitoring, or a related discipline.
  • BOHS qualifications (or working towards them) such as P401, P402, P403, P404, P405, P601, or equivalent.
  • Strong technical report-writing and communication skills.
  • A practical, client-focused approach to problem-solving.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the region.
  • Membership of a relevant professional body would be advantageous.
