We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of MET Technician at a prestigious accident repair centre in Derby, Derbyshire.

Duties
- Prepare vehicles to a high standard, ensuring quality of work
- Complete mechanical, electrical, and trim strip and refit work
- Diagnose vehicle issues accurately and communicate findings effectively
- Conduct vehicle strip and refit work with precision
- Assist in developing EV knowledge and maintain compliance with relevant standards
- Collaborate with colleagues on larger repairs to meet deadlines
- Report additional work requirements to the Bodyshop Advisor
- Maintain product knowledge and technical expertise
- Uphold high standards of workmanship and customer service
- Maintain accurate work documentation and good housekeeping practices
Requirements
- Previous experience as an MET Technician or in a similar role
- Experience within a main dealership or accident repair centre, ideally with premium vehicle brands
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and trim knowledge
- Proven ability to strip and refit vehicles to a high standard
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Good communication skills and technical literacy
- Confidence in using computer platforms and systems
- Accident repair and/or ATA qualification is desirable
- Enthusiasm to enhance technical knowledge and skills
