In this role you will be responsible for leading the team of Engineers of this long-standing manufacturer. You will also plan maintenance activities, keep records up to date, inspect machinery and maintenance, manage budgets and undertake hands on mechanical and electrical repairs.
This company has been operational since the 1950s, specialising in the niche production of specialist materials, supplying heavily into the aerospace, automotive and chemical industries and are vital for their continued operation.
This role would suit a Maintenance Team Leader with mechanical and some electrical experience from an ex-forces background or similar looking for a leadership position where they can progress further into management.
The Role:
- Leading a team of Maintenance Engineers
- Plan all maintenance activities, ensure records are kept up to date and manage budgets
- Perform inspections of machinery and works being carried out
- Undertake hands on mechanical and electrical repairs
- Training on PLCs, NEBOSH and IOSH
- Monday to Thursday 8:15 am-5pm and Friday 8:15-1pm. Overtime available paid at t 1⁄2
