An established and growing firm of Chartered Accountants in North Kent is seeking an experienced Accounts & Tax Manager to join its senior leadership team.

This is a key client management role, ideal for a qualified accountant who enjoys leading people, driving performance and delivering an exceptional client service.

The Role

  • Manage a portfolio of clients and act as their trusted adviser.
  • Lead the day-to-day running of the office, ensuring an efficient workflow and effective WIP management.
  • Review accounts and tax work, providing technical oversight rather than preparing work yourself.
  • Mentor, develop and support junior and aspiring managers.
  • Identify opportunities for business development and contribute to the firm's continued growth.
  • Maintain the highest standards of client service and technical quality.

About You

  • ACA or ACCA qualified.
  • Previous experience in a senior manager or client manager role within an accountancy practice.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounts and taxation.
