Due to continued expansion, Paramount Garage Bluewater is recruiting for two separate permanent, full-time positions within its independent workshop in Greenhithe:
- Vehicle Technician / Motor Mechanic
- Motorcycle Mechanic
Both roles offer a strong basic salary, Monday to Friday hours, no compulsory Saturdays and the chance to join a busy, well-established independent garage where your experience will be valued.
Whether your background is in cars and vans or motorcycles, you will be joining a practical, friendly team with a straightforward approach, ongoing development and the opportunity to build a long-term career.
Vehicle Technician / Motor Mechanic
You will work across a varied range of cars and vans, carrying out
- Servicing and routine maintenance
- Mechanical repairs and component replacement
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- Brake, suspension, steering, clutch and drivetrain repairs
- MOT preparation
- MOT testing, if qualified
- What we are looking for
You should have
- A relevant qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, ideally NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
- Recent hands-on experience as a Vehicle Technician or Motor Mechanic
- Strong servicing and repair skills
- Good fault finding and diagnostic ability
- A full UK driving licence
- A realistic commute to Greenhithe
You do not need to be a qualified MOT Tester. Paid MOT training may be available for a suitable experienced technician with the right background and attitude.
Motorcycle Mechanic
You will work on a varied range of motorcycles, carrying out
- Servicing and routine maintenance
- Mechanical repairs and component replacement
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- Brake, suspension, clutch and drivetrain repairs
- General workshop preparation and safety checks
- Supporting wider workshop activity where appropriate
- What we are looking for
You should have
- A relevant qualification in Motorcycle Maintenance and Repair, ideally NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
- Recent hands-on experience as a Motorcycle Mechanic or Motorcycle Technician
- Strong servicing and repair skills
- Good fault finding and diagnostic ability
