An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Workshop Controller to join a busy and successful dealership in Dagenham.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to take ownership of workshop operations, ensuring maximum productivity, efficiency and high standards of workmanship while supporting a team of skilled technicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing the day-to-day running of the workshop.
- Allocating work efficiently to technicians based on skill set and workload.
- Monitoring workshop productivity and ensuring jobs are completed on time.
- Supporting and motivating the workshop team to achieve performance targets.
- Maintaining high standards of quality, health and safety, and manufacturer compliance.
- Liaising with the Service Department to ensure customers are kept informed of repair progress.
- Assisting with technical queries and ensuring an excellent level of customer satisfaction.
- The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience as a Workshop Controller, Senior Technician or Workshop Supervisor within the motor trade.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Excellent technical knowledge and diagnostic understanding.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach with a focus on quality and efficiency.
- Full UK driving licence.
