Duties:
- Diagnosing and repairing complex electrical and electronic faults on a range of modern vehicles
- Performing servicing, inspections, and repairs including suspension, electrical, and gearbox work
- Conducting engine replacements and transfer-case repairs as required
- Utilizing diagnostic tools such as Autologic and Snap-on for precise fault finding
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and delivering exceptional customer service
- Accurately recording all work carried out and liaising effectively with team members to ensure efficient workflow
Senior Vehicle Technician requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Vehicle Technician within a Main Dealer or Independent Garage environment
- Strong diagnostic, electrical, and fault-finding skills
- Relevant Level 3 light vehicle maintenance qualification or equivalent
- Ability to work independently and manage complex repairs confidently
- Enthusiasm for mechanical problem solving and a proactive approach to technical challenges
