Adecco are currently recruiting for 2 experienced MIG/TIG Welders on behalf of our client a long-established and family-owned engineering company based in Crewkerne.

The Role

Working within a skilled fabrication and welding team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality welded sheet metal components and enclosures to exacting standards.

This role requires experience working with thin gauge materials and a strong focus on weld quality and finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • MIG and TIG welding of aluminium and stainless steel components
  • Welding material thicknesses ranging from 0.9mm to 3mm
  • Manufacturing precision sheet metal enclosures and fabricated products
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Conducting quality checks to ensure work meets required standards
  • Maintaining a safe and organised working environment

Requirements

  • Proven MIG and TIG welding experience
  • Experience welding aluminium and stainless steel
  • Ability to work with thin gauge materials
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Experience within sheet metal fabrication environments desirable
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
