The Role
As a Commercial Account Handler, you'll be responsible for delivering an outstanding service to an existing portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met throughout the policy lifecycle. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing commercial insurance policies from inception through to renewal.
- Processing renewals, mid-term adjustments and policy amendments.
- Acting as the first point of contact for client queries, providing professional advice and excellent customer service.
- Liaising with insurers to negotiate competitive terms and secure the best outcomes for clients.
- Supporting Account Executives where required.
- Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients and insurer partners.
- Identifying opportunities to cross-sell and enhance client portfolios where appropriate.
About You
To be considered, you'll ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Commercial Account Handler within an insurance broker.
- A strong understanding of commercial insurance products across multiple classes of business.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to manage a varied workload whilst maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- A proactive and customer-focused approach.
